Dalstro Compressed Air Pty Ltd manufactured goods — 12 Month Warranty and 2 Year Air End Warranty[Month] 2026
Dalstro Compressed Air Pty Ltd ("Dalstro") warrants to the first purchaser of Dalstro-manufactured goods ("Product") that, subject to compliance with the Conditions of Warranty below:
For a period of 12 months from the date of purchase, the Product will be free from defects due to defective factory workmanship or materials.
For a period of 12 months from the date of purchase, Dalstro-branded accessories supplied with the Product will be free from defects due to defective factory workmanship or materials.
The air end of Dalstro screw compressors will be free from defects due to defective factory workmanship or materials for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase, subject to recommended servicing being carried out using genuine Dalstro spare parts.
Refrigerated air dryers supplied by Dalstro will be free from defects due to defective factory workmanship or materials for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase.
Where compressors are powered by petrol or diesel engines, the engine itself remains subject to the warranty provided by the engine's manufacturer.
Accessories supplied by Dalstro but not manufactured or branded by Dalstro are not covered under this warranty — purchasers should refer to the relevant manufacturer's own warranty, a copy of which can be requested from Dalstro.
This warranty relates specifically to defects in materials and factory workmanship. It does not extend to the operating performance of the Product unless a performance warranty has been separately and expressly agreed in writing (for example, in a quote or order confirmation). Wear-related deterioration — including corrosion, erosion, and general wear and tear from normal use — falls outside the scope of this warranty. Where a performance warranty has been expressly agreed, Dalstro's obligation is limited to correcting the Product within the timeframes set out above.
Outside of what's expressly set out in this document, and to the extent the law allows, Dalstro does not make any further warranty or representation, whether express or implied — this includes any implied warranty as to merchantable quality or suitability for a particular purpose. This does not affect any guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Where Dalstro corrects a fault (whether obvious at the time of sale or only apparent later) in line with the terms above, this is considered to fully satisfy Dalstro's obligations in relation to that fault, except where the law does not allow such liability to be limited in this way.
Conditions of Warranty
a) A claim must be supported by proof of purchase and made to Dalstro in writing, either within 30 days of the defect becoming reasonably apparent, or prior to installation if the defect was apparent beforehand.
b) This warranty is not transferable to a subsequent owner.
c) The Product must be installed, operated, maintained, and serviced in line with Dalstro's current literature at the time of installation.
d) Dalstro's response to a valid claim, at its discretion, will be to replace the Product, repair it, or cover the cost of doing so — this is the claimant's sole remedy under this warranty.
e) Where Australian Consumer Law guarantees don't apply, Dalstro is not liable for direct or indirect loss or damage, including property damage, injury, consequential loss, or lost profit. This includes claims arising from misuse, poor maintenance or storage, use of non-genuine parts, ordinary wear and tear, unauthorised repair work, use outside the Product's intended purpose, operation with parts removed, sustained overloading, or where the serial/model plate has been removed or made illegible.
f) Where Australian Consumer Law guarantees don't apply, any other warranty, condition, or liability not set out here is excluded to the extent the law allows.
g) A part repaired or replaced under this warranty is covered only for whatever remains of the original warranty period.
h) Any part replaced under a warranty claim becomes Dalstro's property.
i) This warranty won't apply where:i. the Product has been misused, neglected, damaged by accident, used improperly, poorly maintained or stored, or run under abnormal or excessive load conditions;ii. the fault stems from the use of non-genuine parts;iii. the issue is the result of ordinary use, fair wear and tear, or environmental exposure, rather than a genuine defect;iv. repair work was carried out by someone not authorised by Dalstro;v. the serial/model plate has been removed;vi. the item is a routine maintenance component (filters, belts, oil separators, and similar).
j) Repair, replacement, or correction only proceeds once Dalstro (or its authorised representative) has inspected the unit and is satisfied of the fault — Dalstro's assessment is final.
k) If a claim is accepted, Dalstro will cover the claimant's reasonable, directly-related expenses, provided the claimant notifies Dalstro in writing within 21 days of first lodging the claim and supplies supporting receipts/invoices. Any other costs remain the claimant's responsibility.
l) Freight and transport costs for returning a faulty Product are not covered unless pre-approved by Dalstro. Dalstro decides how a faulty Product should be returned, and any unapproved freight cost is payable by the claimant.
Important Note
If you're purchasing as a consumer under the Australian Consumer Law, our goods come with guarantees that can't be excluded under that law. You're entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You're also entitled to repair or replacement if the goods aren't of acceptable quality, where the issue doesn't amount to a major failure.
Nothing here limits or replaces any legal right you already have that can't be excluded by agreement.
